Can't be late

Aeden had a doctor's appointment on Friday and he was worried we would be late getting him to school. He was obsessed with it and kept asking how many minutes until school started.

Apparently 8 minutes wasn't good enough so he asked how many seconds 8 minutes was, he didn't care for that answer either, so after a few minutes of me counting down the seconds (by 60) he hollared at me to stop. ;)

He wasn't late for school. :)

Oh and on the way to school I mentioned that after I picked him up we would go get his scripts filled. He told me no, I could go after taking him to school. I explained that wouldn't work as I would be late for "work". He said it was okay for me to be a little late. ;) Total double-standard. ;)

muffins

Aeden {demanding}: "mommy do we have any muffins?"

Me {exhausted/annoyed}: "No we don't have any"

Aeden {demanding}: "Then make some muffins"

Me {exhausted/annoyed}: "I can't I have 15 other things to do"

Aeden {demanding, duh! tone}: "Then your 16th thing to do is make muffins!"

Second lost tooth

Just as traumatic as the first!
Aeden's front tooth (next to the one he lost) has been loose. It was almost horizontal. He was getting upset (this was 10 min ago) about it getting ready to fall out. He was scared etc. etc. So we talked about what would make him feel better and he decided on chocolate milk and a chewy peppermint candy.

He leaves the room and comes back asking if his tooth is gone. Sure enough it had gotten stuck in the chewy candy. He is traumatized. He has an ice pack in his mouth, he is crying and saying he is scared and he wants his big teeth to come in. ROFL!!

He just told me that he has 18 teeth and he is scared. :P

Two teeth down...

This is amusing.

{mad giggles} He is traumatized. He has an ice pack in his mouth, he is crying and saying he is scared and he wants his big teeth to come in. ROFL!!

He just told me that he has 18 teeth and he is scared. :P

I do understand his plight and trauma I am just giggling over his absolute patheticness over losing a second tooth. You would think he would have gotten over it with the first one. :P

Aeden the toothless wonder

The tooth fairy brought Aeden a new green light-up toothbrush, a dollar coin, a quarter and a shiny new 2006 penny. ;)

MIL gave Aeden $5 after asking Aeden how much the tooth was worth and she talked him down from his original $20. :)

First Lost Tooth!

Aeden lost his first tooth! Don't let the pictures fool you, he was greatly traumatized and cried...a lot! He wiggled and wiggled and wiggled it, mainly to gross me out and then all of a sudden it just popped out. He was quite traumatized (I escaped the house but heard about the trauma from semi-reliable sources {grin}) and needed two ice packs and a popsicle to get over it.

What does the tooth fairy bring?

We asked Aeden (who has two loose bottom teeth, not terribly loose but he is becoming more aware of them) what the tooth fairy does and brings.

Apparently she brings a penny!

Woohoo!
