Big boy bed

Eric and I went and got a babygate for Aeden's doorway.
Then when he got up from his nap, we converted the crib, and Aeden is now the owner of a toddler bed.
Yikes, I cried. I felt so sad. We put a green mat (it is thick and cushiony) on the floor next to his bed, it will give him something soft if he falls, and it will help him to climb up on his bed to, as it is a little high.

18-month checkup

Woooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooooooo he is up to 20 pounds.
That is great given the fact that on the 14th (ish) he was down to 19 pounds. He just finished a growth spurt.
Okay, he got one shot (prevnar). I refused the flu shot. Eric wasn't there to consult, and I think we had decided last time not to give it to him.
He has fluid in his right ear (just a little) so we have to go back in 1-2 months to have that checked out.
Also the doctor recommended keeping him on whole milk until he is 3-4 years old because he is so tiny, and the fat is good for brain development.
Weight: 20 pounds
Height: 31 inches
Head: 46 cm
Oh, and something cute: Aeden has started blowing on his food. He does it when he thinks something should be hot. Of course that means he blows on the cold stuff (i.e. carrots) as well.
