According to our string (measure height with piece of string then measure string then just use tape measure to measure boy) methods Aeden is now approximately 4'9" tall.
His feet are HUGE. I gave him a pair of my crocs when it was obvious that he had outgrown his (again). At that point his toes were just under my toes.
Today I took a picture of our feet together...
Clearly he is in a massive growth phase...at least where his feet are concerned. BTW, mine are the ones that are painted. :P

Idiot Phase
We have reached the Idiot Phase.
Aeden & Neil eating hot dogs slathered in Ghost Pepper Sauce. I have no idea, it seemed like some kind of contest or male thing.
Aeden refused to stop eating it even though he was sweating and his eyes were swelling up.
These pictures are not the least bit flattering, but really if you are going to do something stupid...like continue to eat the hot dog, you are going to have to deal with the consequences (i.e. mom putting bad photos up to document it all).

NJHS Induction
Aeden was invited to join NJHS at his school. The application process was quite involved. In order to apply he needed:
1. An evaluation from a teacher
2. A GPA of at least 3.5
3. A letter of recommendation from a non-relative or school employee (Thank you Dona!)
4. He had to write a business letter explaining how he feels he meets the requirements of the 5 pillars of NJHS and how he will display the charateristics while in NJHS.
Then he had to wait.
He found out a few weeks ago that he was accepted.
Last night was the induction ceremony. I might have gotten a little bit teary-eyed. We are so proud of Aeden.
