Bonz candy

December 31, 2004

Okay, so everyone knows that bonz candy (bone shaped) they sell in the quarter machines at the store, right?

We were at MIL's and they took Aeden out for the day and let him get some Bonz candy. Later we were back at their house and Aeden was eating it.

Now, I didn't personally get to see this b/c well Eric is a very quick disciplinarian .

Well, apparently he took 4 pieces of Bonz candy, stuck 2 in each nostril, and 2 hanging from his mouth.

Apparently it was quite hilarious. Eric didn't crack a smile and was down on Aeden telling him it was dangerous etc. very quickly. MIL had to go in another room so Aeden wouldn't see her laughing.

Daddy pants

Aeden has a pair of gray sweats that he got from his friend in AZ. He calls them his "Daddy pants" because Eric wears sweats around the house.
Too cute.

Crabbits

That is what Aeden says when something unexpected happens. Like when his m&ms went flying across the room... "Ah, crabbit".

I think it comes from a cross b/t when I say "Ah crap" and Eric says "Dammit".
"Ah crabbit"

Here today, gone tomorrow.

December 8, 2004

It snowed on Monday, a lot! On Tuesday Aeden tried to make a Frosty snowman, but he couldn't get the snow in a circle (and he couldn't find a magic tigger hat to make Frosty talk).
This morning when we got up, there was hardly (and I do mean hardly, like a minuscule patch the size of Aeden's behind) any snow left on the ground. He was so upset that his Frosty was gone, and the snow was gone.

Ah ha!

December 6, 2004

I put Christmas lights up in Aeden's room, or rather I was attempting to, but it was a very short strand, so I left them for Eric to figure out.

Before he got the chance, Aeden decided to plug them in. He knows the rules, only Mommy and Daddy plug things in. So he lost the Christmas lights, they went downstairs instead.

Fast forward to this weekend. I had bought an extra strand of lights, and Eric and I asked Aeden where we should put them.

Aeden put his finger to his chin and said "hmmmm". He looked around and then said "Ah ha!" "My room!"

Nice try stinker. :P They went in the living room.
