Third Grade Travel Expo--Japan

Third graders at Aeden's school researched various countries and then put together an Expo for the community (parents/students/etc).

Aeden researched Japan. That is Mount Fuji at the top of his display board. It has already erupted as evidenced by the lava sitting in front of the display. ;)
Various families donated foods from the different countries. Aeden brought Pocky and shaped rice with a dipping sauce. Aeden is wearing a hatchimaki that he made, research indicated that it is worn when someone is facing a mental, spiritual or physical challenge
Students had to share the information about their country and explain why it would be a good place to visit.
There was also a show held twice. The show consisted of the 3rd graders singing five different songs. We will make a montage once summer vacation starts and post it at a later date.
Hmmm, Aeden makes a mighty cute punk. ;)
Aeden "dressed" up as a Japanese schoolboy by wearing a "school uniform".
