Camera Fun

Aeden shares what little enthusiasm he has for our trip.

Eric took a lot of pictures. :)

Eric taking pictures over a fenced area. Aeden and I climbed under the bridge to see him.
A mini-waterfall at the Henry Bridge.
Having fun with depth of field.

Eric was quite sneaky when attempting to take pictures of Aede and me.
The West Arlington Bridge was near a church that had a picnic area. It was quite picturesque and we had fun taking pictures.

Watching the boys gave me the idea to have some fun taking pictures while Eric took pictures.

Covered Bridges of Vermont

We visited the Covered Bridges of Bennington County this weekend. Eric and I had a great time, Aeden was a reluctant traveler.

Silk Bridge

Paper Mill Village Bridge

Henry Bridge

Chiselville Bridge

West Arlington Bridge (our favorite)

Reflections of Vermont

We went to see the covered bridges of Vermont. Where there are bridges there are rivers, and where there are rivers there are reflections.

The Bennington Monument

We took Aeden to Vermont this weekend...we went to see covered bridges (post coming soon) but also found the Bennington Monument that memorializes the Battle of Bennington of 1777.

It was located in a huge circle shaped area. There were a couple of statues, a moose, and the obelisk. Unfortunately we arrived just as the guided elevator tours ended. We are going to go back sometime to go to the top.

Aeden kissing the moose...we had to ask him to. ;)
The obelisk is 306' tall.

Aeden is two obelisk bricks tall.

The observation deck, view from the ground.

Goalie!

Blue Goalie are you ready?

Save!
Kick!

Working hard!
Watching the ball.
Save!
Kick...
the ball is still in the air.
If you saw the picture from last week you will notice that I have "fixed" Aeden's shirt. It now has an awkward band at the end, but at least he no longer looks like he is wearing a dress.
Throwing the ball in...
Love the expression on his face here.
Aeden was goalie for the first half of his game. Click through to the blog post to watch the video.

Game 1 (3/4)

First soccer game of the season:

Poor kid for some reason his shirt is a very weird fit, way too long but okay elsewhere. I tried to fix it, but um, that didn't work so very well.

First Day of 3rd Grade

He is not grumpy because he has to go to school. He is grumpy because he can't wear basketball shorts to school except on P.E. days.
