Growing up?

Aeden and I were in Wendy's where he was enjoying some ice cream. I felt he was taking bites that were too big and reprimanded him, so then he started shoveling the bites in.

I told him to slow down.............................and so he did everything in slow motion. {shudder} Gah! I sniped at him to stop and he looked at me all innocently and said "What? You told me to slow down." {grumble}

Training to not drink and drive

Apparently our training (errr brain washing?) has really taken hold with Aeden. Of course the fact that his aunt was killed probably helped to concrete things (he remembered from a year ago!).

If we ask him if it is okay to drink alcohol and drive he will give a resounding no, then tell us you will be fined/go to jail/die (depending on how morbid he is being).

We have even covered the basis of getting in a car with someone who has been drinking and is driving.

I am pretty impressed with him that he seems to be getting the message (or hopefully will have it by the time he is in high school).
